Betty Davis Powell's Obituary
Betty Davis Powell, born April 16, 1935 passed away peacefully at the Pearl River County Hospital on February 26, 2016 at the age of 80. Betty was a long time member of the Love Baptist Church here in Bogalusa.
A devoted mother she leaves behind 3 daughters, Yvonne (Authur) Nobles of Bogalusa, Betty Jo (Mark) Kimmons of Lumberton, MS. And Sharlene Cameron of Purvis, MS., a son, Billy Joe (Linda) Powell of Pine Grove, La., a sister , Louise Smith of Lumberton, MS., 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren and also numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Ethie Davis, her husband, Billy E. Powell, a brother, Braxton Davis, a sister, Marie Stevens, and a son-in-law, Wayne Cameron.
Visitation will be held on Sunday February 28, 2016 at the Chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home starting at 10:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. Brother Glynn Erwin will officiate the services assisted by Jerry Blackwell and Eddie Hartfield. The interment will follow at Hillview Memeorial Gardens located on Spring Valley Rd. here in Bogalusa.
