Betty Lou Duncan's Obituary
Betty Lou Duncan age 80 passed away August 6, 2014 at Our Lady Of Angels Hospital. She was a resident of Bogalusa and a member of Church of United Faith.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Rev. Robert J. Duncan of Bogalusa, one son Robert Samuel Duncan of Bogalusa. Five daughters, Betty Faye Bufkin of Enon La, Patricia Ann Duncan of Bogalusa, Sandra K. Stafford of Franklinton La, Shirlene Magee of Bogalusa La, Rebecca Lynn Blount of Holden La. Three brothers Rev. Walton Wheat of Crossroads Ms, Oneal Wheat, and Jerry Wheat all of Crossroads. Two sisters, Ruby Miller of Meridian Ms, and Rose Odom of Crossroads Ms. Thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mabel Wheat, brothers Rev. Billy Ray Wheat, Luther Wheat, and Joey Wheat. One sister Pearlie Warner.
Visitation will be held Friday at The Church of United Faith on Marshall Richardson Rd in Bogalusa. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday August 9, 2014 at 8 a.m. until time for service in the church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jerry Duncan, Rev. Kirk Hoelzel and Rev. Charles Warren will officiate.
