Deepest sympathy for our dear Bro.. To have served and fought as a United States Marine. Bennie fought the fight more than most could ever attempt in both the USMC and against Covid. Rest easy. My fondest memory of Bennie was when we worked together at the post office. When he got his mailed cased and ready to hit the streets, he would say to us, " the sign is in the feet". I asked him what did it mean. He said it was an old military saying, it's time to go . As l observed him, he was a good Christian man, soft spoken and a good man who loved his family. He retired early to take care of his mom. To his family, l say a soldier has gone on to a much better place. God told Bennie, " the sign was in in the feet. It's time to go.
