Audrey Renee Acuna's Obituary
A. Renee Acuna: July 3, 1926-Jan. 30, 2014
Born in Bogalusa, La, where she resided until the last four years of her life, she pasted away in her sleep in Hattiesburg, MS, at 8:13 pm, Jan 30, 2014. If she could say anything to us today, it would be that her real life has just begun. She is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her beloved husband Alvaro Mario Aucna. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph Edward and Clara Victoria Mally Quave; her oldest daughter, Renee Regina Acuna Sheehan and son, Mark Mario Acuna. Survivors include Carmen Acuna Perry, of Hattiesburg, MS; three grandchildren; Melissa Perry Martin of Ovette, MS Stephen and Stephanie Perry of Hattiesburg, MS and two great-grandchildren: Mark and Nicolas Chapman of Ovette, MS She had been a secretary for the Bogalusa Lumber Company, Judge A J Jones, and for Acuna's Carpet Center and Christian Bookstore. Many people remember seeing her working in her yard tending her flowers. She will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Monday Feb. 3, 2014 from 10 am until time for services in the chapel at 1 pm. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens. Pastor Larry Lassley will officiate.
