Some of my earliest memories as a child was going with my parents to Mr. Alvin's home to visit with the family. Donna and Chris were children at the same time. Our families were very close friends and I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Alvin's passing. Praying for the family. God bless you all.

Grew up with Alvin, Frances, Donna & Chris as constant members of our extended family. Many fond memories of Burt Hill and all the family. Especially enjoyed sliding down the steep hill between Aunt Lucy's house and the ice cold creek on pieces of roof tin.

Spent a lot of time with Mr. Alvin & Mrs. Margie at their home in Bush. We served along with them at Hebron BC. He was very special to us and would entertain us with stories of his growing up years at Burt Hill. He was very proud of his family and will be missed by all who knew him!
