Ms. Alene Woodard Davis' Obituary
Alene Woodard Davis born November 19, 1943, passed away on February 3, 2024, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA. Mrs. Davis was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a long-time resident of Bogalusa. She was faithful to her Lord and strong in her faith. Cooking was a favorite hobby, but caring for her family was her true passion.
She is survived by three granddaughters: Cassie Davis of Bogalusa, Ashley (Dustin) Cothern of Bogalusa, LA, and Sarah (Dmitry) Perminov of Panama City, FL; six great-granddaughters: Lauren (Manuel) Ramos, Abby Creel, Hallie Verlander, Callie Davis, Yelana Perminova, and Coralyn Cothern; two great-grandsons: Gage Dillon and Braxton Thibodaux; one great-great-grandson: Camden Penton; a special nephew: Don McNeil; and a special friend: Alex Breland.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her late husband: Archie Davis; two daughters: Cindy Davis and Carol Davis; one granddaughter: Courtney Davis; a grandson: Michael Blackwell; her parents: Fred and Minnie Stogner Woodard; and several brothers and sisters.
