Willie David Gill

November 11, 1947 - May 5, 2012

Willie"David"Gill born November 11, 1947 passed away Saturday May 5th 2012 at the St. Tammany Parish Hospital at the age of 64. He was a native of Enon and a life long resident of Washington Parish. He served in the United States Army. He attended Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church. He is survived by two sons James(Robin) Gill of Bay St. Louis MS., David Gill of Slidell, La., one daughter Eva(Chris)Braud of Slidell, two brothers Kevin(Michelle)Jenkins of Indiana, and Michael Barber of Franklinton, three sisters Brenda Carter of Pine La., Eva Ridgedell of Bogalusa and Sharon Corkern of Enon. He has nine Grandchildren, two Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Willie and Louise Corkern Gill, a son Robert Gill, a grandson Dustin Boykin, a sisterShirley Boone and a Step-Brother Paul Corkern. Visitation will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home Friday May 11th from 5:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. and again Saturday May 12th, 2012 after 8:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Leon Hickman will be officiating the services. The Interment will follow at the Spencer Cemetery with Military Honors presented by Bogalusa American Legion Post #24.
