Helen and I grew up together - she was a couple of year older than I - but we were great friends. She and I attended the same church Monrooe Street Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed alll of the activities together. Helen was a wonderful Christian, genuinely kind, sweet, compassionate and empathetic. She loved playing the piano and used her talents to the glory of God. When I went away to college, I lost contact with her and never saw her again., even though I've thought about her all these years and wondered about her life. I'm happy to know she had a happy life with her husband and continued her service to our Heavenly Father. I send my love and prayers to the family members that are left. I did not know that all of her siblings and parents preceded her in heaven with our Lord.
