Marcus David Irvine Sr. age 64 passed away April 27, 2012 at his residence here in Bogalusa. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and served during the Vietnam Era with the United States Army. He received two purple hearts durning his tour. He is survived by his wife of forty years Joyce C. Irvine of Bogalusa La. One son Marcus "Mark" David Irvine Jr. of Bogalusa La. One daughter Rebecca Irvine Hayes of Picayune Ms. Brothers Harbert Irvine of Varnado La. Harlan Irvine of Bogalusa La. Calvin Eugene "Hap" Irvine of Varnado La. Sisters Ethel Seiler of Schertz Tx. And Daisy Knight of Bogalusa La. One granddaughter Hannah Hayes of Picayune Ms. He was preceeded in death by his parents Louie and Minnie Irvine and a brother Danny Irvine. Visitation will be held Sunday April 29, 2012 in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
